The Future Is Not Anxiety, It Gives Direction: Our "A Day With Your Future '22" Adventure
There is a common and tiring question that resonates in the minds of almost every young person studying at university: "What will I do when I graduate?" The future is often seen as a source of anxiety due to its uncertainty. As IEEE BAUN Student Community, we want to break this perception and "The Future is Not Anxiety, It Gives Direction" We wanted to shed light on young people with the motto.
One of the visionary activities of our group, in our period in which I am honored to serve as the Chairman of the Board of Directors, "A Day With Your Future" We held the 3rd edition of the organization with great enthusiasm on Wednesday, May 18, 2022, at Balıkesir University Congress and Culture Center Dumlupınar Conference Hall.

Interactive Meeting with Industry Professionals
When designing this event, we stayed away from a classic, one-sided seminar format. Our aim; The aim was to create an interactive platform where students could directly interact with experienced professionals from various sectors and be inspired by their career journeys. Our greatest goal was to motivate and guide our participants towards a successful future.
We discussed the most critical topics of today and the future in our sessions on stage throughout the day:
- Entrepreneurship and Start-up Culture
- Innovation and Sustainability in Technology
- Personal Branding and Career Management
Our valuable speakers shared not only their success stories, but also the difficulties and failures they encountered on the way. Additionally, we had the chance to turn theory into practice with interactive workshops where participants could instantly apply what they learned and take an active role.

From Idea to Stage: Leadership and Project Management Exam
When the lights on the stage turned off and the hall emptied, the tremendous positive feedback we received from our participants, speakers and sponsors suddenly erased our months of tiredness.
But this organization had a much deeper personal meaning for me. As an organizer and Chairman of the Board of Directors, this process; From the first brainstorming notes written on a blank piece of paper to the filling of that huge hall, there was a complete process. leadership, project management and team coordination It was the exam.
Creating an event from scratch, staying calm and directing the team in times of crisis, and ensuring flawless communication between different units (sponsorship, public relations, design, logistics) gave me invaluable professional experience. What I learned during this challenging but satisfying process will always be a guide that I will refer to in my engineering career.

Thanks to the Team Shaping the Future
We wholeheartedly believe that we touched the personal and professional development of our participants and opened new horizons for them with this event. Endless thanks to my wonderful team who stood behind such an effective organization and worked shoulder to shoulder with me from the idea stage to the execution, our valuable speakers who shared their experiences without disappointing us, and all our sponsors who believed in our vision.
Remember; The future only guides those who have the courage to build it!
